
Right now the terraces around the house are at their deepest summer green. From here the ears of rice ripen: from late September into October the terraces turn gold, rice hangs to dry on wooden racks (hazakake), and new rice and mushrooms reach the table. Foliage usually peaks from late October to early November.
Many September and October dates are currently open. The whole house is yours — one group per night, up to 11 guests — and our opening discount (30% off: ¥40,000 → ¥28,000 per night for the house) is still running. Longer stays and group visits are welcome.
